not much news... is good news!

Well folks, a lot of you have been asking how things are going in the garden and the answer is... really good!  Things are growing fast and strong and the insect pests seem to be gone for the most part!  We'll be enjoying our first harvest of summer veggies real soon!  For spring, we have had fresh salad and root veggies coming up weekly for salads and that has been awesome!  Have a look at this beautiful salad in the making from last week!

Only other real news is that I got some really cool corn in the mail last week that is sprouting as we speak.  This maize comes from Chiapas and is non GMO open seeded, been on the continent for hundreds of years!  And the best part is that sales help to support schools in Chiapas which I find very rewarding to be a part of.  Visit here for more information, to make a donation, and to order your seed!  http://www.schoolsforchiapas.org/

Other than that, not much news from the garden other than some great pics of growing in progress.  Enjoy, and come for dinner this summer!
